The world is ever changing. Peace or war, dark or light, sun or rain, it will still change. The world waits for no one. All we can do as evolving, ever-changing human beings is adapt to the transformation that surrounds us or else we’ll get sucked into a whirlpool of conformity.
With the recent unfortunate events happening around the globe, from natural disasters all the way to man-made monstrosities one can only hope for light. One can only look forward to a better tomorrow. One can only dream that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train but Christmas lights flickering from on top of a tree.
A tree that symbolizes hope to a little kid, symbolizes affliction and affection to a parent, symbolizes the awaited arrival of a new year to a hurt person that wants to start over, and symbolizes a time of year where we get to celebrate and rejoice rather than fight and distress over worldly matters.
In an un-settled world that continues to change, all we can do is change with it and change it for the better.
