There is no better time to enjoy movies about pregnancy than when you are actually pregnant. In fact, although not necessarily educational you could probably learn a thing or two and try to see the lighter side of life as a pregnant woman. Here are some of our favourites.
The Back Up Plan: Jennifer Lopez is a girl in her thirties who is single and decides to resort to artificial insemination to achieve her dream of having a baby, only to meet the man of her dreams on the very same day. He gets to experience with her all the phases of pregnancy such as nausea, food craving and preparation for the childbirth.
Labour Pains: Lindsay Lohan is a young woman pretending to be pregnant in order to avoid getting fired from her job. She lies for nine months to everybody around her with surprising consequences.
Look Who’s Talking: Starring John Travolta and Kirstie Alley and released in 1989 it is a dated flick but definitely one of our favourites. Alley falls pregnant out of wedlock and by coincidence meets a cab driver Travolta, who takes care of her during her pregnancy and childbirth.
